Power Press Setter Pershore, easily commutable from Worcester, Evesham , Redditch , Tewkesbury Permanent – £28400 plus overtime at enhanced rates Duration: Permanent with a benefits package including contributory pension, free parking and PPE An exciting opportunity to work within a market-leading manufacturer with excellent opportunities for technical development. Very interesting role with frequent tool changes. Excellent facilities and benefits. This role would suit either a Press Setter or Operator with significant experience who is ready to take a step up. The Press Setter / Operator Role: * Setting a wide range of Power presses * Conducting tool changes between jobs * Setting feeders of coil and blanks * Working on small to medium sized batches * Working from engineering drawings * Visual inspection of work and dimensional checks on 1st off, last off and periodic batches * Adhering to strict safe operation and health and safety guidelines Skills required for the Press Setter / Operator Role: * You should be a certificated Power Press Setter * Experience of frequent tool changing * Being able to check finished work against diagrams and be able to measure accurately using rules, tape measures etc. * Guiding operators to promote efficient and safe working practice.
