We are working with a London based boutique strategy house that specialises in commercial due diligence for lower/mid market private equity deals. They are looking for a friendly and engaging consultant with previous experience to join their lively and down to earth team to help aid in their continued continued growth and success.
We are looking for a person who is open to gaining a high level of responsibility and exposure from the offset. For someone with a larger consulting firm background we believe this level of responsibility is one of the main selling points of this position.
The role will include:
- Delivery-focused work
- Primary and secondary research (interviews and desk research, focused on customer feedback, market and competitor analysis)
- Customer and stakeholder interviews (sourcing, managing, writing questionnaires, conducting and transcribing)
- Report writing
- Liaising with clients, management teams and other DD streams
- Assisting with other daily activities of the business
As part of a small team, you will be expected to participate in both the culture and planning for the future of the firm.
Person specification
This role is for a highly self-motivated individual, with the potential to grow quickly with the firm. You will be from a consulting or accounting firm background. An excellent ‘feel’ for numbers and analytical skills are important – but not as important as a broad commercial awareness. CDD work involves learning the dynamics of a whole new industry in a few days at the start of a project and we so being able to get up to speed quickly is essential.
