As a Lead Marketing Artist, you will play a significant role in promoting Zynga mobile games. You will work closely with our marketing creative team to produce visual communications that showcase the exciting features of upcoming games, as well as live features and events of current titles. This responsibility requires an ability to execute against a broad range of tasks across all areas of the game’s portfolio, from creating promotional images & motion graphics to helping edit 2D animation. You will also engage with our UA team and relevant stakeholders to ensure our team meets its objectives and KPIs on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. You will be a key figure in the overall design pipeline, providing feedback and insights to designers, artists, and producers on proposed designs and strategy. You’ll be an advocate and collaborator, leveraging the talent and expertise of our staff to develop content that excites players to install and enjoy our games worldwide.
Requirements:
- Support UA and marketing strategies by designing high-quality visual static and motion assets that capture attention, communicate effectively, and drive audience engagement.
- Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and best practices; introduce, encourage, and champion innovative ideas to the team.
- Ability to lead and work on multiple projects simultaneously to deliver on the organization's creative goals; adapt quickly to changing project priorities.
- Build strong communication within the art team to effectively deliver on the creative tasks.
- Work closely with the Marketing Art Lead to align on creative strategy to help guide ideation and production.
- Be proactive and intuitive, ensuring the team is always driving forward in an efficient and positive way.
- Mentor and guide more junior designers.
What do you need from me?
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with casual mobile games.
- Expert motion graphics and animation skills.
- Highly proficient using Photoshop, After Effects, and Illustrator.
- Experience working on live projects or products.
- UA/digital marketing knowledge is desirable but not essential.
- 3D software & Unity knowledge is desirable but not essential.
- JIRA experience desirable but not essential.
- A portfolio of recent work demonstrating your skill and breadth of experience.
