Position Overview: We are looking for an Art Intern who is passionate about honing their craft and growing their skills. By joining Gram Games, you’ll develop your skills alongside some of the most talented minds in mobile gaming. Throughout this internship, you will gain deep industry knowledge and contribute directly to the production of our titles. At Gram, our interns are integral members of the team. We’re seeking someone driven, proactive, and unafraid to take initiative. We expect our interns to leave a lasting mark on both our studio and our games, and we look for teammates who embody flexibility, independence, and a restless curiosity to find creative answers. At Gram we embrace a hybrid work environment. Within this role, you would work 2 days per week in our London office and the remaining days at home.

What You'll Do:

  • Create 2D Art Assets: Produce high‑quality visuals for LiveOps events, including offers, pop‑ups, banners, and in‑game assets.
  • Art Team Support: Assist in preparing and exporting assets to ensure a seamless implementation process.
  • AI Integration: Utilize AI tools within your daily workflow for rendering, generating variations, upscaling, and rapid iteration.
  • Style Adaptation: Quickly and consistently adapt existing game art styles into new LiveOps materials.
  • File Management: Maintain well‑organized, layered source files (PSD/Figma) for efficient team collaboration.
  • Pipeline Mastery: Learn and navigate the production pipelines of a live, large‑scale mobile gaming environment.
  • Collaborative Feedback: Actively participate in art reviews, applying and providing constructive feedback to maintain high visual standards.

What You Bring:

  • You are an undergraduate student currently enrolled in a sandwich degree that supports a placement year.
  • You are studying Game Art, Animation, Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, or a related creative field.
  • A solid understanding of composition, colour theory, typography, and layout.
  • Practical knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Figma or Miro.
  • A genuine interest and curiosity in AI‑assisted art production workflows.
  • The ability to work at pace, iterate quickly, and strictly follow an established art style.
  • An eagerness to learn the nuances of game production and LiveOps dynamics.
  • A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.

  • A keen interest in mobile games and current trends in game art.
