Director of Product

Position Overview: We are looking for a Director of Product who can bring our games to the forefront of the industry: building unforgettable social experiences, connecting hundreds of millions of people worldwide, and delighting users through engaging games. Equipped with user data, you will have the freedom to provide experience, direction, and measurable performance to the game design process, building high‑quality social games for millions.

What You’ll Do:

• Help multiple global teams manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of complex products spanning multiple feature areas.
• Write and consult on specs, overcome design challenges, and promote interoperability and scale.
• Drive the overall research strategy and ensure that product decisions are based on in‑depth data analysis.
• Develop deep insights into customer needs and how the roadmap addresses those needs.
• Drive strategy for the team in collaboration with leadership, provide management for CPM team members, and mentor PMs throughout the company.
• Coordinate Product Managers across multiple products to set clear/measurable objectives and craft project plans based on priorities.
• Deliver your vision & strategy, monitor product progression and partner with central publishing teams and/or game teams for delivering initiatives.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years experience in product management in consumer products.
• Experience in consumer mobile or game development is preferred but not required.
• Ability to build wire‑frames, product specifications and white papers.
• Experience with managing dynamic applications and multivariate testing.
• Able to lead, motivate, and develop a team, including those who do not directly report to you.
• Exceptional data analysis and problem solving skills; SQL querying abilities is a strong plus.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to present work to the executive team.
• A passion for games, creating fun and compelling user experiences.
• Outstanding written/oral, organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to provide clear direction, set measurable goals, and give insight on industry and competitor trends.
• Experience in working with and coordinating large‑scale projects with central teams.

What We Offer You: Zynga offers a world‑class benefits package that helps support and balance the needs of our teams. The pay range for this position in California and Illinois at the start of employment is expected to be between $172,400 and $200,000 per year.
