Position Overview: The User Acquisition team at Zynga is looking for an experienced and accomplished User Acquisition performance marketer, who will acquire users for Zynga’s growing mobile portfolio. This individual will focus on leveraging Paid Social Channels, Ad Networks, and DSPs to scale our current marketing efforts. You will be responsible for helping the team identify and develop mobile acquisition strategies, and work closely with engineering and machine learning engineers to further improve our internal tools. You are an experienced quantitative online marketer who can manage multiple priorities while delivering outstanding execution. You have succeeded in launching games in different markets.
We embrace a hybrid work environment. Within this role you will work 3 days per week in our London office and the remaining days at home.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan, create and manage new user acquisition, and retargeting campaigns on paid social (Facebook, Google, Snapchat, TikTok) and ad network platforms (i.e. Unity, Applovin, Vungle)
- Lead the optimization efforts across creative, geo, platform, and channel to maximize returns and scale products and deliver performance at scale
- Develop relationships with advertising partners and networks to test new traffic sources
- Conduct industry research and present actionable findings
- Partner with the ASO (App Store Optimization) and CRM teams to ensure cohesive user growth and retention strategies
- Partner with creative and design teams to conceptualize and test ad creatives, including videos, playables, and static assets
- Leverage data insights to guide creative direction and identify top-performing concepts
What You Bring:
- Experience in media buying for mobile games
- Strong, problem solving, and critical‑thinking skills and experience working in metrics based environment
- Experience in using advanced and privacy‑safe mobile measurement approaches
- Experience and a desire to do both strategic planning and day‑to‑day execution and optimization
- Outstanding communication and client skills, both written and spoken, to work effectively with all stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within tight deadlines
Bonus Points:
- Experience scaling games to top 100 grossing
- Strong background in creative strategy: ideation, testing frameworks, and performance‑driven iteration
- Experience working with playables, UGC, and influencer‑style creatives.
- Background in live‑ops UA (events, seasonal campaigns, re‑engagement)
- Experience launching and scaling games globally, including Tier‑1 and emerging markets.
- Experience collaborating closely with product, monetization, and data teams to drive growth.
- Strong understanding of LTV modeling, cohort analysis, and ROAS forecasting.
