About the Role:

We’re looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our mission of building the data, AI, and software infrastructure that will power the future of manufacturing.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team working at the intersection of hardware and software designing scalable backend systems that connect thousands of machines, handle massive real-time data flows.

What You’ll Do:

• Design, build, and scale backend systems using FastAPI and modern Python tooling.
• Architect highly efficient systems to handle thousands of concurrent data streams from connected devices.
• Develop APIs for edge devices and integrate backend services with their frontend dashboards.
• Improve performance across databases, caching layers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with a world-class team of engineers and scientists to deliver innovative AI solutions for real manufacturing environments.

About You:

• 3+ years of experience building and deploying backend systems at scale.
• Strong proficiency in Python, FastAPI, Postgres, and SQLAlchemy.
• Familiar with distributed systems, cloud deployments, and tools like Redis, Celery, Sentry, and New Relic.
• Experience leading projects end-to-end in fast-paced environments
• A strong communicator and collaborative team player who enjoys solving complex problems.
• Passionate about technology that bridges the digital and physical worlds.
