I’m working with a growing cybersecurity consultancy that delivers high-impact security solutions into large, complex enterprise environments, particularly within regulated sectors like insurance and banking.
They’re looking for a SIEM Consultant to take ownership of Microsoft Sentinel implementations and optimisation within a major enterprise setting. You’ll work in a high-trust, flexible environment alongside experienced consultants, with strong support for continuous development and real input into security strategy.
Responsibilities- You will design, implement and optimise SIEM solutions using Microsoft Sentinel.
- You will develop and maintain detection rules, automation workflows and security use cases.
- You will analyse and onboard data sources within Azure environments, including Log Analytics Workspaces and Data Lakes.
- You will support and advise on broader security architecture within cloud environments.
- You will contribute to documentation, best practices and continuous improvement of security operations.
- You have very strong C1 German language skills.
- You have experience working as an IT Security Consultant or in a similar role.
- You have strong knowledge of SIEM technologies, specifically Microsoft Sentinel.
- You have experience working in Azure cloud environments.
- You have a great understanding of security architectures and monitoring concepts.
- You have strong communication skills and experience working with senior stakeholders.
- You have knowledge of Palo Alto Cortex.
- You have experience working in the insurance industry.
- You have knowledge of ISO27001, BSI and NIST.
