They’re looking for a Junior Systems Administrator to join an extremely long-term project, in which you will have a chance to learn from the best and experience completing an exciting long-term project, all whilst growing personally and professionally. You will also get to work with and teach your more junior colleagues.
Responsibilities- You will assist with Unix/Linux system administration
- You will support and operate a Kubernetes/Rancher-based container platform
- You will contribute to monitoring, logging, alerting, and documentation
- You will work under established IT service management, security, and operational processes
- You have C1+ English language skills and have/are eligible for NATO security clearance
- You have good knowledge of Unix/Linux systems
- You have an understanding of networking fundamentals (e.g. DNS, load balancing)
- You have experience working with ticketing systems in structured IT environments
- You are familiar with air-gapped deployments
- You have familiarity with container security tools and best practices
- You have a Splunk Admin/Architect certification
- You have knowledge of ITIL
- You have a relevant degree
- You can enjoy an extremely long-term project, with all of the luxuries of a stable, growing company
- You can work for a mid-sized company – no bureaucracy, efficient processes, and plenty of opportunity for you to grow
- You can join the close-knit team on fun event days e.g., Oktoberfest
- You will be able to help out and train your more junior colleagues, or receive the training yourself
