Overview

I am hiring a DevSecOps Engineer on behalf of a German cyber-security consulting and service company focused on cyber defense and security, helping organisations detect, defeat and prevent cyberattacks through professional services, automation, and research-driven solutions. The team values innovation, creativity, and a collaborative working environment that embraces New Work principles and gives employees autonomy and room to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build and manage secure, scalable infrastructure solutions, including complex cluster architectures and automated workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams such as cybersecurity specialists, ML engineers, and consultants to deliver integrated technical solutions.
  • Develop and implement automation solutions using Ansible, GitOps, and related tools to streamline DevOps and DevSecOps processes.
  • Support continuous improvement of security processes and tooling, driving DevSecOps best practices throughout development and operations.
  • Provide hands-on technical contribution, taking ownership of initiatives and working autonomously while contributing to team success.

This role is remote in Germany.

Essential

  • Hands-on experience in DevSecOps or related engineering roles, with practical skills in cloud and security-driven automation.
  • Strong expertise with Kubernetes and cluster architecture, as well as familiarity with DevOps automation tools (e.g., Go, Python, Ansible, GitOps workflows).
  • Ability to creatively solve problems and independently drive technical topics forward.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain security issues clearly to technical teams and stakeholders in both German and English – minimum C1 level German.
  • Analytical and structured approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement of security practices.
