I am hiring an OT Security Consultant on behalf of a distinguished information security consultancy, specialising in the comprehensive Security Life Cycle. Their seasoned team excels in crafting and implementing robust security strategies, addressing aspects often overlooked, such as security organization and data protection. With a focus on Critical Infrastructures security, they offer meticulous consulting and auditing services. Boasting expert professionals engaged in national and international standardization efforts, they actively contribute to the shaping of the Information Security sector. Their diverse skill set ensures clients unmatched proficiency across all project phases. The role is hybrid in Berlin with the possibility of remote work.
Responsibilities
- Deliver technical consulting services to enhance the security of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and IT/OT production environments.
- Design, assess, and review tailored security architectures, controls, and technical solutions based on client requirements.
- Develop and optimise ICT/OT‑specific security processes, including secure operations, patch management, incident response, and business continuity.
- Conduct security assessments, audits, and risk analyses, providing clear mitigation strategies aligned with standards such as ISO/IEC 2700x and IEC 62443.
- Support procurement and organisational development initiatives, including tender preparation, security requirement definitions, and the establishment of IC/OT‑focused security governance and ISMS frameworks.
Essential Qualifications
- Relevant degree (e.g., Computer Science, Cyber Security etc.)
- OT security experience
- Experience implementing IEC 62443
- Technical knowledge in areas such as network security, infrastructure and/or offensive security
- Strong communication skills
- German C1 and fluent English
Desirable
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ISO‑27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CISM etc.)
- Experience working with KRITIS
