I am hiring a Junior Information Security Officer on behalf of an international company specialising in the distribution of vehicle parts and accessories for the commercial vehicle aftermarket. It operates in a dynamic, globally connected environment with a strong focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement. The organisation values structured processes, innovation, and operational excellence, making information security and compliance important aspects of its business operations and supporting its ongoing growth and digital development.
Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance, documentation, and continuous improvement of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Create, update, and review key security documentation such as guidelines, processes, and work instructions.
- Manage and maintain ISMS‑related registers (e.g., asset, risk, control measures, and training records).
- Assist with internal audits, management reviews, and certification processes such as ISO/IEC 27001.
- Track corrective actions, findings, and improvement opportunities while coordinating communication across teams and partners.
This role is hybrid in Lower Saxony, with 3 days on‑site.
Qualifications
- Relevant degree e.g. Computer Science, Cyber Security, etc.
- Initial experience working with ISMS and Data Protection.
- Knowledge of ISO 27001.
- Strong communication skills.
- C1 German and fluent English.
