Location: London (4x/week in office)

If you are someone who avoids the phone and prefers to hide behind email sequences, this will not be for you. This is proper outbound. You will be calling senior professionals. You will be building conversations from scratch, and you will be measured on the meetings you create. If you cannot self-manage, you will fold like a deck chair in this role.

Why you’ll love it here:

  • Up to £35,000 commission based purely on meetings booked
  • Commission paid quarterly
  • Real visibility of the deals you originate
  • The chance to sit in on demos and institutional sales conversations
  • A clear route into a closing role after 12 months of performance

This is for someone with at least a year of outbound SDR or BDR experience, who is comfortable making 50+ calls a day and speaking with senior professionals. You will have a foundation in finance or financial services or come from a recruitment background, and you are competitive enough to back yourself.

Day to day:

You will be prospecting across the UK market. That means researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and reaching out through cold calls, email and LinkedIn. Your focus is booking qualified meetings for the sales team. Commission is tied directly to meetings, so quality matters more than vanity activity. You will stay close to the opportunities you create and often sit in on sales calls and demos, giving you exposure to how institutional deals are run and closed.

The Business:

The business provides a digital marketplace used by institutional investors. Through data, research and analytics, the platform helps them discover and analyse systematic investment products, construct portfolios and manage reporting across multiple providers. It operates globally across major financial hubs, and the US remains a key growth market with real room to build pipeline.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one-year outbound SDR or BDR experience
  • Proven cold calling experience
  • A finance degree or experience within financial services or you have a background in recruitment.
