Our TPN department in Thetford is recruiting for Production Technicians to join our fast-paced team. You will be manufacturing life-saving nutrition products that are sent directly to patients in their homes and hospitals all over the world. Working in a cleanroom environment in specialised personal protective equipment, you will use specialised computers and manually manufacture the nutrition products. Therefore, you must be comfortable wearing PPE.

Role and Department

TPN department in Thetford; Production Technicians manufacturing life-saving nutrition products in a cleanroom environment using specialised PPE and computers. Training and development are provided.

What We Offer

  • Starting Salary: £27,000
  • Shift Allowance: £45.35 per week
  • Hours: Mon–Fri rotating shifts (06:00–14:00 and 13:00–21:00)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing: Prepare, compound, and inspect pharmaceutical products following SOPs
  • Labelling & Dispensing: Label all products according to exact specifications
  • Cleanroom Operations: Maintain isolator inventory and validate aseptic techniques
  • Sanitisation: Clean and sanitise equipment and components to regulatory standards
  • Monitoring: Complete routine equipment sampling, testing, and facility cleaning
  • Environment: Comfortable working on your feet while wearing specialized cleanroom PPE/gowns

What skills do you need?

  • GMP Knowledge: Essential understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (or equivalent hygiene/safety standards from other industries) is desired but not essential
  • Education: GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • Skills: High attention to detail and excellent communication skills; ability to work closely with quality and training teams
  • Values: A strong sense of compassion; understanding products go directly to vulnerable patients
