Our Isolator department in Thetford is recruiting for Production Technicians to join our fast‑paced team. You will manufacture life‑saving antibiotics and chemotherapy products that are sent directly to patients in their homes and hospitals worldwide. Working in a cleanroom environment wearing specialised personal protective equipment, you will use specialised computers and manually manufacture nutrition products.

Training & Development

  • Full training provided: Comprehensive, step‑by‑step instruction on all equipment, safety protocols, and compounding processes.
  • Formal sign‑off: You will receive technical sign‑off as you master each process.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting salary: £27,000
  • Shift allowance: £45.35 per week
  • Hours: Mon–Fri rotating shifts (06:00–14:00 and 13:00–21:00)
  • Benefits package includes 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, up to 8% pension contribution, Westfield healthcare scheme, Blue Light Card eligibility, employee discount scheme, subsidised on‑site canteen, Employee Assistance Programme (EAP), and clear career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, compound, and inspect pharmaceutical products following SOPs.
  • Label all products according to exact specifications.
  • Maintain isolator inventory and validate aseptic techniques.
  • Clean and sanitise equipment and components to regulatory standards.
  • Complete routine equipment sampling, testing, and facility cleaning.
  • Work comfortably on your feet while wearing specialised cleanroom PPE/gowns.

Qualifications

  • GMP knowledge: Essential understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (or equivalent hygiene/safety standards).
  • Education: GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
  • Skills: High attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and ability to work closely with quality and training departments.
