Baxter Thetford seeks a Process Operator for our Line 7 Automated Line. This role involves rotating shifts (Monday-Sunday, 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00), totaling 42 hours per week. Shift patterns may include 3 days on, 4 off, 2 nights on, 3 off, etc.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Follow EHS/GMP/GDP/company and corporate policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Operate within Baxter documentation procedures (BaxU) and meet all safety, quality and performance guidelines, ensuring batch paperwork is completed timely and accurately.
  • Identify quality defects and reject them.
  • Escalate issues to the team leader and assist in rectifying issues.
  • Maintain optimum line performance by adjusting the machine within validated parameters.
  • Perform daily and weekly cleaning of equipment and area.
  • Actively participate in improvement programs, embracing new ways of working.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience working in a GMP environment (pharma, food, FMCG).
  • Quality focused, capable of routine, repetitive tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Team working orientation, sharing workload fairly and supporting teammates.
  • Maintains high standards of behaviour while managing workload.
  • Process oriented, follows set standards and ways of working.
  • Flexible, able to carry out varied tasks at short notice, adjust break timings, work additional hours, and adjust working hours as required.
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Punctuality and strong attendance record.
  • Good standard of English comprehension and communication.
  • Well‑organised and task driven.
  • Experience using fork trucks advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience setting up and changing over machines advantageous but not essential.
