SUMMARY
This role will work initially from our high performing National Distribution Site in Northampton, moving to a brand-new healthcare facility owned by CEVA Logistics in Rockingham Park, Corby which will be opening in 2027. Completes all administrator tasks to assist with the operation of the Forwards team. Raises all orders for Managed Inventory accounts and checks orders once processed through the in-house system. Will raise any queries to prevent errors for customer and logs all detail. This role is site based Monday - Friday, 9am - 9pm. A salary of circa Β£28,000 is on offer.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and place MIS orders for customers across the UK and Republic of Ireland.
- Create and distribute order files to customers and forwarding operatives.
- Review, validate, and amend orders using internal systems and reports.
- Manage customer enquiries via email and telephone, providing timely and professional support.
- Monitor and manage customer backorders to ensure effective resolution.
- Oversee and organise the team shared inbox, ensuring communications are appropriately actioned.
- Support operational teams with order queries, product relocations, expiry checks, and related requests.
- Maintain accurate administrative records, including issues logs, mileage records, order volumes, and expiry tracking.
- Produce and distribute operational documentation, including logs, rotas, worksheets, and identification stickers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across Transport, Customer Services, Warehouse, and Operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support the Supervisor with vehicle fleet administration and management activities.
- Provide administrative assistance on ad hoc projects and operational initiatives.
- Act as cover for the Supervisor during periods of holiday or absence.

- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience working in an administrative, customer service, or operational support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and data entry systems.
- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
