What will you be doing? As an Underwriting Assistant within the Financial Institutions team, you will:
- Underwriting and Risk Analysis
- Analyse new and renewal submissions alongside experienced underwriters.
- Review financial data, loss records and risk information to identify key exposures.
- Prepare referral packs for underwriters.
- Contribute to rating and pricing decisions using our underwriting tools.
- Broker and Market Engagement
- Build broker relationships as a trusted day‑to‑day point of contact.
- Respond to broker queries and drive follow‑ups to completion.
- Deliver quotes, endorsements and renewal documentation accurately and on time.
- Portfolio and Business Management
- Contribute to portfolio reviews and produce reporting insights.
- Participate in driving profitable growth across the portfolio.
- Operations and Continuous Improvement
- Process risks, endorsements and documentation with accuracy and pace.
- Ensure data quality in our underwriting systems.
- Champion process improvements and share ideas that make us better.
