As a Senior Claims Assessor, you will play a critical role in evaluating and processing claims related to Life, Terminal Illness, Critical Illness and Income Protection. You will work closely with policyholders, medical professionals, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information, assess claims fairly, and make informed decisions.
- Evaluate and assess claims in accordance with policy terms and conditions.
- Review medical reports and other relevant documentation to determine claim validity.
- Communicate effectively with claimants, medical professionals, and internal teams to gather information and provide updates.
- Make fair and timely decisions on claims, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of all claims assessments and communications.
Previous claims assessment experience in at least one benefit type is essential. Strong understanding of medical terminology and conditions related to all claim types.
