About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Protection Product Consultant to join our team.
You will help design, implement, and manage Zurich's protection products to secure customers’ financial futures, supporting every stage of the protection product development plan.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Proposition Development and other functional teams to define product requirements and work with third‑party software partners to implement and maintain new and existing propositions on the Life Protection Platform.
- Assist colleagues in analysing the protection market, competitors, and customer needs to identify gaps and opportunities for commercial advantage.
- Support feasibility assessment of new product ideas, build business cases, and recommend whether to proceed.
- Conduct data analysis to support product assessments and ensure decisions are evidence‑based.
- Drive proposition‑led projects to refresh, upgrade, or create new protection propositions.
- Collaborate with experts across the business to ensure changes meet customer needs while maintaining personalisation, flexibility, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Identify, monitor, and mitigate delivery and regulatory risks before launch, following product development and risk & compliance procedures.
- Help develop and maintain our propositions on industry quote portals and best‑advice systems.
- Monitor regulatory changes and lead the implementation of necessary adjustments with subject‑matter experts.
- Build and maintain a network of experts in all relevant areas to support ongoing product innovation.
