We are looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join our UK Finance team who is curious, eager to learn, and ready to embrace challenges. This apprenticeship offers a unique chance to build a solid foundation in finance while gaining practical, real‑world experience. You will learn core principles such as financial accounting, analysis and the role of finance in business strategy. Alongside technical skills, you will develop digital proficiency, problem‑solving abilities and effective communication techniques. Within the role, you will grow professionally, preparing for a successful career in finance. We will give you plenty of support to balance your study time alongside your role.
Apprenticeship details
- Duration: 18‑21 months. Upon completion you will have opportunities to put your new skills into practice while continuing to develop and grow.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with month and year‑end financial processes and reporting
- Delivering financial analysis to stakeholders
- Utilising financial systems to ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial information
- Involvement in forecasting and planning activities to provide insight to the business on future outlooks
- Collaborating with customers and stakeholders to deliver services that meet their needs, ensuring a positive outcome for all
- Driving continuous improvement activity and participating in projects to enhance processes, systems and service delivery
Qualifications & Requirements
- Permanent right to reside and work in the UK before you apply; residence in the UK for a minimum of three consecutive years
- A minimum of five GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/4 including Maths and English
- Grade C or above in at least 3 A-levels (for Level 4 apprenticeship) including a numerical subject (Maths, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Accounting)
- Professional attitude with a positive “can‑do” approach
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Attention to detail and a curious nature
Apprenticeship Pathways
- Level 3 Assistant Accountant including AAT Advanced Diploma in Accounting
- Level 4 Professional Accounting Technician Apprenticeship including a qualification from CIMA, ACCA or AAT in Accounting
