Join to apply for the Reinstatement Valuations Surveyor role at Zurich Insurance.

Location: Home-based (with flexibility to attend office if preferred) • Working hours: part-time, job-share and full-time options • Closing Date: 29th October 2025.

Zurich Resilience Solutions supports customers with risk management solutions including onsite and desktop assessments, account management, and expert advice. Zurich values flexible working arrangements to accommodate diverse needs.

What will you be doing?

  • Travel on average 2-3 days per week to customer premises to undertake physical on-site reinstatement cost assessment in accordance with RICS standards
  • Review internal data sources and open-source data to conduct desktop reinstatement cost assessments
  • Prepare and present customer property reports to support business cases, including statements of need with accurate measurements, sites and premises
  • Travel to customer premises to undertake physical site inspections
  • Contribute to thought leadership and technical insight delivered to customers and key business partners in both commercial and residential sectors

  • Assoc RICS / MRICS Qualification
  • Consultative approach with ability to recognise opportunities to generate revenue
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage own diary while collaborating with the wider team
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Experience in meeting customer deadlines while maintaining high standards
  • Pro-active ownership of responsibilities, time management, and adaptability
  • Excellent presentation and customer engagement skills; ability to influence and negotiate
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and promote collaborative teamwork with internal and external partners
  • Full UK driving licence
