Overview
We’re looking for a Governance Analyst to join our Commercial Insurance (CI) team, supporting the delivery of effective governance, delegated authority and risk management processes. The role sits at the heart of how governance operates across CI, ensuring frameworks are applied consistently, data and documentation are accurate, and reporting is clear and meaningful.
Responsibilities
Support Delegated Authority governance by maintaining documentation, trackers and records, and coordinating with underwriting, distribution, and operations teams.
Assist in compliance checks and coordinate governance meetings and actions.
Collect data for risk assessments, maintain risk trackers, support audit documentation and responses to audit/compliance queries.
Prepare meeting packs, maintain action logs, manage frameworks and templates, and ensure version control.
Perform basic analysis to spot trends, data gaps and recommend improvements.
Generate regular updates, risk metrics, dashboards and presentation materials for senior stakeholders.
Act as a central coordination point across CI, building strong relationships and keeping stakeholders informed.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, governance communications, and culture promotion.
Qualifications
Organized, detail‑focused, and adept at working in a structured environment.
Experience in an administrative, coordination or governance‑style role with process support or data management.
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across teams.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Proactive mindset and willingness to take ownership of work.
Experience in insurance, financial services, governance, risk or compliance is beneficial but not essential.
Exposure to delegated authority or audit processes is a bonus.
Collaborative, adaptable, willing to learn, and capable of working autonomously.
