As a result of the exciting growth within Zurich Corporate Risk (ZCR), we have an opportunity to join our Operations Department as an administrator on a permanent basis. This role involves completing key reconciliations across our Group Life, Group Income Protection, and Group Critical Illness policies. Additionally, you will handle financial reporting, liaising with third-party suppliers, auditors, and other business areas.

What will you be doing?

  1. Assisting with monthly review and processing of ZCR\’s five reconciliations, highlighting anomalies and issues.
  2. Identifying root causes of issues and working on developments to correct and prevent reoccurrences.
  3. Completing quarterly financial reporting for reinsurers.
  4. Supporting ZCR from a billing and finance perspective to deliver excellent customer service.
  5. Maintaining and developing controls to ensure compliance.
  6. Completing all audit requirements related to premiums, commissions, and claims in a timely manner.
  7. Supporting projects, UAT testing, and implementation discussions.
  8. Advocating for Consumer Duty, identifying and preventing customer harm, and ensuring good customer outcomes.
  9. Understanding and supporting governance frameworks.
  10. Initiating and supporting process improvement ideas.
  11. Sharing knowledge with teams and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications include financial and accounting knowledge, experience with Excel and Microsoft packages, excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage varying workloads.
