As a result of the exciting growth within Zurich Corporate Risk (ZCR), we have an opportunity to join our Operation\βs Department as an administrator on a permanent basis. This role involves completing key reconciliations across our Group Life, Group Income Protection and Group Critical Illness policies. In addition, you will be completing financial reporting which will involve, speaking with third party suppliers, auditors and working with other areas of the business. Many of our employees work flexibly in a variety of different ways, including part-time, flexible hours, job share, an element of working from home or compressed hours. What will you be doing?
- Assisting with the monthly review and processing of ZCR\βs five reconciliations highlighting anomalies and issues
- Taking these findings forward to identify root causes and work on developments across ZCR to correct and prevent reoccurring issues
- To complete the quarterly financial reporting for our reinsurers
- Provide support across ZCR when looking at a scheme from a billing and finance perspective to help deliver exceptional service to our customers
- Maintain and develop controls within the team to ensure ZCR remain compliant
- To complete all ZCR audit requirements to include premium, commission & claims in a timely manner
- To provide support on projects and discussions on UAT testing & implementation
- To advocate Consumer Duty, identifying and preventing customer harm, and delivering good customer outcomes
- Understanding and supporting our Governance Frameworks
- Initiate and support implementation of process improvement ideas
- Sharing knowledge and expertise with other teams and stakeholders
- Dealing with day to day queries and completing with the timeframes set
- Supporting and improving ZCR\βs debt position
- Financial and accounting knowledge would be preferable
- Previous experience using Excel and other Microsoft packages
- Excellent attention to detail, with strong focus on quality and root cause analysis
- Ability to cope with varying workloads, pressures and priorities
- Confident speaking on the phone
- Passionate about customers and driving through continuous improvement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent judgement and decision-making skills
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
- Able to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, both within and outside of ZCR
