Position: Lift and Crane Engineer Surveyor
Location: London
Working hours: part-time, job‑share, full‑time
Salary: Total Package value of over £65,000, including a competitive salary of up to £57,594, depending on experience.
Car requirement: Essential Car User
Responsibilities
- Complete industry‑leading training and conduct statutory inspections of lift and crane equipment.
- Provide expert technical opinions to ensure compliance with legislation and high standards.
- Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports electronically, utilizing rugged laptops and advanced IT tools.
- Communicate effectively with clients, making sound engineering judgments and fostering relationships.
- Work from home, travelling to client sites within reasonable distance, and be available for paid overtime.
Qualifications
- Level 4 qualification (HND/HNC etc.) in a relevant engineering field; minimum level 3 accepted.
- Time served or Modern Apprenticeship accreditation.
- Hands‑on experience in an engineering discipline, preferably with lifts or crane equipment.
- Background in manufacturing, repair, maintenance, mechanical or motor trade.
- Full valid UK driving licence.
