Actuarial Pricing Analyst - Energy, Marine and Construction at Zurich Insurance in London, on-site.
This full-time/part-time/job-share position offers opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities
- Shape Portfolio Strategy: Collaborate with underwriters to define, analyse, and implement strategies that enhance and grow portfolios.
- Develop Actuarial Pricing Tools: Support the creation and maintenance of pricing models, deliver analyses, and drive business decisions.
- Lead on Case Pricing: Deliver bespoke actuarial pricing and performance analysis across P&C, Motor, Energy, and Specialties to set robust, competitive prices.
- Grow Your Technical Toolkit: Explore and apply new technologies in the work environment.
- Foster a Positive Culture: Contribute to a supportive, inclusive team environment where growth matters.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Build relationships with underwriting, reserving, finance, and claims; promote data-driven culture.
- Coach and Mentor: Support development of junior team members and potentially move into line management.
- Champion Continuous Improvement: Seek ways to enhance processes and drive efficiencies for the team and underwriters.
What are we looking for?
- Degree qualified.
- Ideally some experience in General Insurance.
- Strong technical and analytical skills in actuarial pricing, data science, or statistical modelling. Technical pricing experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Clear and effective communication; able to explain complex ideas to a wide audience.
- Proactive mindset and collaborative problem-solving approach.
- Proficiency in analytical tools (Excel, SQL, R, Python, Power BI, VBA).
