In this role you will shape and manage Group Risk propositions within the Market Management team, aligning with Zurich’s customer-first mission. You will drive the three-year proposition strategy, coordinate cross-functional work, and build robust business cases to scale innovative benefit features. You’ll assess risks, ensure compliance, and oversee delivery through processes and supplier partnerships. Responsibilities

  • Consolidate proposition plans with stakeholder input, focusing on flexible benefits
  • Develop and manage a 3-year proposition strategy and plans
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to create new or improved propositions/features
  • Develop business cases to justify investments and guide planning
  • Identify risks in proposition design and ensure compliance with policies
  • Conduct competitive analysis and reconcile internal costs/risks with external customer needs
  • Research data sources, analyse trends, and make recommendations for new propositions/features/processes
  • Review best practices and analyze business models to support proposition development
  • Oversee implementation of processes, systems configuration, and training in the function area
  • Support management of 3rd party supplier and intermediary agreements
  • Act as SME for the wider ZCR business to support proposition delivery

Key requirements

  • Substantial experience in a technical group risk role (Corporate Protection)
  • GR1 or FPC qualifications preferred
  • Project management experience
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in project teams
  • Experience with intermediaries/customers desirable
