With plenty of support around you, you'll experience how your future career might look and help us make a difference to our customers at a time when they need us the most.
Our summer internships are ideal for undergraduate students. As well as gaining some great experience, successful completion of your internship in 2026 could lead to you being offered a place on one of our graduate programmes starting in 2027.
What can I look forward to?
We want you to achieve your full potential and that's why our internship programme is designed to build on your university studies. You'll join our Energy Underwriting team and develop expertise across the whole breadth of insurance, from understanding, assessing and reducing risk, to claims, pricing and insurance frameworks – all with a focus on sustainable energy. This will help you build a great foundation for your future career. This is all underpinned by a 10-week structured development programme. You'll also have the chance to work on a UK-wide intern project where you will work with other interns across the business.
To ensure you have the best start, a dedicated buddy will be on hand to support you throughout your summer with us.

What you'll need:
- A passion for Sustainability
- You must have an indefinite, full right to work and reside in the UK. We cannot accept applications from those who require sponsorship to work in the UK. You must have resided in the UK for a minimum of three consecutive years.
- Although we are a hybrid workforce, you should be within a commutable distance to the office workplace stated in this advert
- Be in your penultimate year of undergraduate study and predicted minimum 2:1 from your bachelor's or equivalent degree.
- At least 96 UCAS points – CCC grades (or equivalent) from 3 A-level subjects
- A* to C grade (9 to 4) in Maths and English GCSE
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to study for further professional qualifications
