This is an exciting opportunity for candidates looking to further their career within Risk Management and join our diverse, passionate, and thought-leading ZRS Property Team.

This is a highly rewarding client-facing role working with our larger Corporate, Real Estate, and international customers to provide tailored, solutions-focused risk engineering programs.

The role is home-based, and successful candidates will be required to travel to customer sites across London and the Home Counties. The role is an essential car user (ECU) position and includes the ECU company car allowance.

We seek candidates with experience in Property & Business Assessments and ideally some Account Engineering experience. Candidates should aspire to develop into an established Account Engineer role, supported by training. They should demonstrate ambition, customer-first mindset, responsiveness, teamwork, and a drive for excellence.

Zurich Resilience Solutions supports our customers and stakeholders with market-leading risk management solutions, including survey programs, account management, technical advice, and more.

What will you be doing?

  • Develop and implement customer service strategies that reduce loss, address risk improvement actions, and align with customer operations for maximum impact.
  • Undertake desktop and on-site assessments following internal technical guidelines.
  • Collaborate with your Risk Engineering Assistant to generate stewardship reports, benchmarking, and conduct customer service review meetings.
  • Manage the progress and completion of risk improvement actions across assigned accounts.
  • Be proficient with Zurich Resilience Solutions offerings and work with business development leaders to support customers in achieving risk management goals while mitigating loss exposure.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and technical insights through events, articles, and publications.
  • Deliver complex risk engineering programs in line with service level agreements, collaborating with global networks and contractors when needed.
  • Provide technical support for large new building developments and major refurbishments.
  • Engage regularly with our Business Partners in London.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in property loss prevention, including Business Interruption and Natural Hazards, with a willingness to upskill in Fixed Fire Protection.
  • Experience assessing High Rise buildings.
  • Experience managing customer accounts and stakeholder relationships to meet commercial and risk management objectives.
  • Excellent presentation, customer relationship, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Commitment to self-development and supporting others\’ growth.
  • Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) is desirable.
