What will you be doing? As part of our Retail Test Team within the wider Digital and Proposition function, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that changes to our systems are delivered to the highest quality standards.

The team is responsible for testing new functionality, enhancements, and system updates across our Retail platforms, helping to ensure a seamless experience for our broker partners, customers, and colleagues. Through thorough testing and analysis, you'll help identify issues before they reach production and contribute to the successful delivery of digital change.

Reporting to the Retail Test Manager, you'll work closely with colleagues across UKGI Pricing & Underwriting, Retail teams, Digital teams, and external partners to support the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Support Test Leads in the planning, development, and delivery of testing activities.
  • Analyse business requirements and specifications to create and maintain effective test scripts and test data.
  • Execute manual and automated testing activities with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Investigate, record, and monitor defects through to resolution, ensuring issues are clearly documented and communicated.
  • Validate that system changes meet business requirements, stakeholder expectations, and technical specifications.
  • Create, maintain, and enhance test tools and test data to support efficient testing processes.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of testing standards, quality assurance processes, and team best practices.
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of our products, systems, and customer needs.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, manipulation, and formula creation.
