The opportunity
Technical Services are looking to appoint a Senior Engineer (Lift/Crane Discipline) reporting directly to the Principal Engineer (Lift Crane).
What are we looking for?
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team where you will have an opportunity to be involved in decision making that helps to shape the Technical Services offering associated with:
- Provision of robust technical governance that helps mitigation of business exposure to risk
- Technically supporting 450 field-based engineer surveyors
- Driving improved efficiency and departmental improvements
- Promoting a positive health & safety culture
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, have an eye for detail and be able to ‘think outside the box’ with regard to developing technically sound solutions without compromising on quality on the service we provide.
The successful applicant will need:
- Proven appropriate industry experience
- HNC/HND or Degree in relevant Engineering discipline.
- Registration with the Engineering Council at Incorporated Engineer (Ieng) level as a minimum with an aspiration to achieve Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
- Good interpersonal, presentation, team working, work management and project management skills.
