Working hours: This role is available on a part-time, job-share and full-time basis.

Location: Home-based, South UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who are looking to further their career within Risk Management and wish to join our diverse, passionate and thought-leading ZRS Property Team.

This is a highly rewarding client-facing role working with our larger Corporate, Real Estate, and international customers to provide a tailored and solutions-focused approach to their risk engineering programmes.

The role is home-based, and successful candidates would be required to travel to customer sites across London and the Home Counties. The role is an essential car user (ECU) position and includes the ECU company car allowance.

We are looking for candidates with experience in conducting Property & Business Assessments and ideally some Account Engineering experience. Candidates should wish to develop into an established Account Engineer role, supported with training. They should demonstrate ambition, prioritize customer needs, act responsively in a team environment, and have a drive for excellence.

This role offers comprehensive training and ongoing support to help you thrive and support our customers with technical guidance and insights.

Zurich Resilience Solutions supports customers and stakeholders with risk management solutions including survey programmes, account management, and technical advice.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Develop and implement customer service strategies that reduce loss and address risk improvement actions.
  2. Conduct desktop and on-site assessments following internal technical guidelines.
  3. Generate stewardship reports, benchmarking, and conduct customer service review meetings.
  4. Manage risk improvement actions across assigned accounts.
  5. Support business development by understanding Zurich Resilience Solutions propositions.
  6. Contribute to thought leadership through events, articles, and publications.
  7. Deliver risk engineering programmes aligned with service level agreements, collaborating with global networks and contractors.
  8. Provide technical support for large building developments and refurbishments.
  9. Engage regularly with Business Partners in London.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Experience in property loss prevention, Business Interruption, and Natural Hazards; willingness to learn Fixed Fire Protection.
  • Experience assessing High Rise buildings.
  • Experience managing customer accounts and stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent presentation, customer relationship, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Commitment to self and team development.
  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent (desirable).
