The opportunity

Zurich are looking for someone with a keen interest in data and analytics to join a fast-paced insurance environment. We are growing our Personal Lines MGA book and we need the right people to turn the data into actionable insight. The Personal Lines Portfolio Management Team are responsible for handling the portfolios of our Managing General Agent (MGA) partners, ensuring continued profitable growth within Zurich; where your analysis, insights and ideas will be vital to the success of the team. Whatever your experience if you have the right mindset and attitude, we will provide the tools for you to develop and hone your skills.

What will you be doing?

  • Provide regular insight and analysis, by analysing large data-sets under the direction of the Portfolio Managers.
  • Demonstrate increasing knowledge of analytical techniques alongside general insurance knowledge to be able to provide insight to internal customers.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of market developments, distribution channels and our competitive position in relation to PL MGA products.
  • Contribute to a positive, diverse and supportive team culture.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong numerical ability and data manipulation skills.
  • Preferably coding skills, but if you have the energy and commitment to learn, we can support and train you in these.
  • Some experience in applying analytical techniques to data sets to gain insight into trends and profitability would be advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills.
