The Opportunity
Are you passionate about creating memorable experiences that create a lasting impression? We’re looking for an Events Specialist to join our UK Events team. In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and deliver a variety of events across our business that strengthen our brand, engage the audience, and support our business goals.
What will you be doing?
- Plan and Execute Events: Organise internal and external events, including conferences, exhibitions, dinners and virtual events, ensuring each one aligns with Zurich’s values and standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors to deliver seamless events from concept to completion.
- Project Management: Manage timelines, budgets, and logistics to ensure every event runs smoothly and achieves its objectives.
- Innovate: Bringing your skills and experience to help us as we strive to make our events different, innovative and inspirational.
- Customer Experience: Put attendees at the heart of every event, anticipating needs and providing thoughtful touches that make a difference.
- Brand Representation: Ensure all events reflect Zurich’s brand identity, purpose, and values.
- Evaluation: Gather feedback, report on event outcomes, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
What are we looking for?
- Experience in planning and delivering successful events, ideally in a corporate or agency setting, but venue experience also considered.
- Accuracy in written and spoken English and Maths is important for this position
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and positive approach.
- Approachable and calm under pressure with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
- Proficiency and experience with event management tools and Microsoft Office, with a natural aptitude for self-learning new tools.
- Flexibility to travel and support events outside standard business hours as needed.
