About the role: We’re looking for a Senior Real Estate Underwriter to accelerate the growth of our mid-market retail real estate portfolio. You’ll use your expertise to underwrite complex property risks and, most importantly, help us win new business and strengthen our presence in the market.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the real estate sector.
- Build strong relationships with brokers, clients, and partners to expand Zurich’s reach and reputation.
- Deliver expert underwriting solutions tailored to client needs, ensuring both growth and profitability.
- Keep ahead of market trends and regulatory developments, using your insights to shape our go-to-market strategy.
- You will play a key role in supporting the wider regional team by fostering growth through coaching and development, encouraging collaboration, and driving commercial success.
What we’re looking for:
- Proven underwriting experience in insurance, ideally with real estate or retail portfolios.
- Strong analytical and technical abilities, with confidence in interpreting complex financial data.
