Location: Swindon/hybrid – Please note you will be expected to work from our Swindon office at least once a week.

The opportunity: Zurich Corporate Risk (ZCR) is growing, and we’re looking to make things work even better through smart technology. We’re hiring a Technical Support Administrator to join our Operations Department on a permanent basis. In this role, you’ll learn and use key tools like Continuous Improvement, AI, and automation to help shape the future of our business.

What will you be doing?

  • Learning the key approaches, methodologies and techniques of Continuous Improvement, AI, and automation within the team.
  • Supporting senior colleagues with improvement and automation initiatives across ZCR.
  • Working with stakeholders to define requirements within a project context.
  • Gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements for assigned projects.
  • Helping to review administrative processes, identify inefficiencies, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
  • Supporting process documentation, testing, and implementation activity for approved improvements, AI, and automation solutions.
  • Supporting the delivery of smaller, lower complexity improvement activities under guidance.
  • Assisting with project coordination activities, including tracking actions, progress, benefits and realised savings.
  • Assisting with operational readiness, including communications, training, deployment, and transition to BAU teams.
  • Building effective working relationships with stakeholders across the business to support successful change delivery.
  • Supporting daily monitoring of automation and MI reports and assisting with system and business exception handling.
  • From time-to-time support other project activity across the team and ZCR.

  • A passion for Continuous Improvement, with relevant experience of exposure an advantage.
  • Attained or working towards LEAN Yellow Belt.
  • Ability to cope with varying workloads, pressures, and priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good judgement and a willingness to learn and make informed decisions.
  • A positive and supportive approach to team culture.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong focus on quality and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
