Location: We’re flexible, you can be based from any of our UK Zurich Offices

What will you be doing?

  • Embed Zurich’s Exposure Management Framework including policies, procedures, systems and reporting across ZIK UK and in alignment with Group standards.
  • Help lead the development and continual enhancement of exposure management tools and processes to improve data capture, modelling accuracy and efficiency.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to drive continuous improvement in exposure processes, supporting more robust risk assessment and governance.
  • Support the operationalisation of underwriting business strategy on Exposure Management through effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Carry out research and analyse key themes and market trends to enhance risk assessment methods, exposure reporting and the internal model.
  • Identify and implement improvements to exposure management reporting, scenario analysis and the production of key metrics.

What are we looking for?

  • Strong data handling and technical skills – manipulating large datasets using Excel, SQL, and increasingly Python or automation tools to build exposure MI, streamline reporting, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Cross‑functional communication & stakeholder influence – presenting complex exposure insights to underwriters and senior stakeholders in a clear and actionable way.
  • Portfolio monitoring & aggregation management – assessing accumulation risk across multiple lines performing monthly exposure roll‑ups, and identifying emerging risk concentrations.
  • Continuous improvement & tool development mindset – enhancing exposure reporting processes, building new analytical tools, and contributing to a culture of technical innovation and process optimisation.
  • Regulatory and reporting knowledge – familiarity with RDS, PRA/CBI filings, and other exposure‑related regulatory requirements.
  • Knowledge of Exposure Management and processes.
  • Experience of deterministic scenario modelling and/or reporting.
