This is an exciting opportunity to work within our Energy Practice inRisk Engineeringas the Head of Proposition Strategy & Development. The purpose of the role is to lead the development and delivery of strategic, sustainable, and customer-centric propositions for the UK market, while actively contributing to and influencing ZRS’s global proposition strategy.

What will you be doing?

  • Proposition Development
    • Design, refine, and launch new propositions that address evolving customer needs, focusing on advisory services and technology-driven solutions.
  • Technology Scouting
    • Stay ahead of industry trends by exploring emerging technologies and assessing their potential to enhance Zurich’s offerings.
  • Opportunity Identification
    • Analyse market data and customer insights to spot new advisory services and technology-enabled business opportunities.
  • Work closely with Product, IT, Underwriting, Marketing, and Distribution teams to co-create and deliver innovative propositions.
  • Customer Focus
    • Ensure all propositions deliver clear value and benefits, based on a deep understanding of customer challenges and expectations.
  • Go-to-Market
    • Lead the launch and continuous improvement of propositions, monitoring performance and gathering feedback for ongoing enhancements.
  • Help shape and implement a UK and Global deployment strategy that delivers the growth requirements, maintains and improves service
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Develop and engage strong relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Global Linkage
    • Act as a key liaison between the UK business and global proposition teams, sharing best practices, market intelligence, and co-developing scalable solutions.
    • Represent the UK in global proposition forums, ensuring local innovations inform global strategy and vice versa.
    • Support global initiatives by piloting new concepts in the UK and providing feedback for global roll-out.

This position has a requirement to have a regular presence in the London Office to work directly with internal stakeholders and clients.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience as a consultant providing advisory services direct to customers
  • Experience in the development of customer proposals, business growth plans and project management
  • Ability to analyse data relating to revenue, advance O365 skills such as excel and power BI
  • Ability to develop and implement long term strategic plans.
  • Influences business decisions through exemplary communication and negotiation.
  • Able, enjoys and promotes working autonomously.
  • Ability to successfully liaise with senior managers throughout the organisation.
  • Demonstrates an ability to be flexible around new technologies with the ability to articulate this directly to customers and clients.
