With plenty of support around you, you’ll experience how your future career might look and help us make a difference to our customers at a time when they need us the most.

Our industrial placements are ideal for undergraduate students. As well as gaining some great experience, successful completion of your industrial placement in 2026 could lead to you being offered a place on one of our graduate programmes starting in 2027.

What can I look forward to?

As an Accounting Intern you will have the opportunity to develop your personal and professional skills, while learning from industry experts and senior managers who take a keen interest in your growth. We are passionate about ensuring you settle into the working environment effectively and offer a buddy/mentor at the very start, someone who has been in your shoes.

In addition to departmental day-to-day activities, you can expect to be involved in real projects that deliver value to our business and customers. These could include process transformation, providing financial support to the business or developing MI for management.

What you’ll need

  • You must have an indefinite, full right to work and reside in the UK. We cannot accept applications from those who require sponsorship to work in the UK. You must have resided in the UK for a minimum of three consecutive years.
  • Predicted 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in Accounting & Finance placement year degree or an Accounting & Finance degree at university.
  • At least 96 UCAS points from 3 A-Level subjects (or equivalent).
  • A minimum C/4 grade in both English and Maths at GCSE level (or equivalent).
  • Although we are a hybrid workforce, you should be within a commutable distance to your assigned office workplace stated in this advert. At the beginning of the scheme you’ll need to work full-time in the office. This will help with face-to-face training, building your personal brand and broadening your network. Depending on the team you are placed in, there may be a requirement to work in the office for most of the working week.
