Job purpose: As a Technical auditor (Gas) at Zuno, you will be confident and knowledgeable in auditing our installations to ensure they are compliant and to current regulations and manufacturer standards. You will have excellent communication skills to manage installation issues as well as support all departments within the business in audit and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- This is an office based role where you will deal remotely with onsite installations issues.
- Assist engineers offering technical solutions on the phone or via live chat.
- Offer technical support to other departments e.g. Compliance and aftercare.
- Communicate clearly to customers offering solutions, recommendations, and reassurance.
- Carry out desktop audits on all completed installations looking for any compliance issues that may require the engineer to re‑attend if the job is not 100% compliant.
- Update Zuno admin platform regularly to ensure all recommendations, technical knowledge and information is being recorded for each job.
- Review internal/external audit information.
- Train other members of staff on the process and procedures on how to report a gas leak.
- Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Driven to deliver a quality service and good customer outcome.
- Able to work well under pressure.
- Have excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Be a supportive team player and detail orientated.
- Computer literate.
- Prepared to learn new skills.
- Any other duties which may be required from time to time by the Management Team and Board of Directors, in the course of your employment with Zuno.
Experience and Qualifications:
- We are looking for a reliable and well organised person who has experience in the domestic gas industry with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- ACS Qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT essential)
- Other qualifications (unvented hot water, LPG, other appliances) desired
- A minimum of 5 years gas experience (installation, repair, service of domestic gas boilers)
- Previous experience in field supervision or management desirable
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
- Full UK driving license
