We are looking for an enthusiastic, technically minded Application Technician to join Zünd UK in Letchworth Garden City. This isn't a role where you'll spend every day sitting behind a desk.
You'll be working with some of the most advanced digital cutting technology in the industry, demonstrating what our equipment can do, helping customers find the right solutions, supporting our sales team, and turning ideas into real-world applications.

Zünd is a global technology company specialising in high-performance digital cutting systems.
Our machines are used across a huge range of industries, including graphics, packaging, textiles, leather, composites and technical materials. What you will be doing:
As an Application Technician, you'll be right at the heart of demonstrating what our technology can achieve. You'll work closely with customers and our sales team, helping to demonstrate equipment, develop applications and find practical solutions to technical challenges.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Demonstrating Zünd cutting systems to prospective and existing customers.
- Preparing and running customer demonstrations.
- Testing different materials, tools and machine settings to achieve the best results.
- Providing technical advice and support to customers and the sales team.
- Troubleshooting application and machine-setting issues.
- Helping customers understand how our technology can improve their production processes.
- Supporting the sales team during customer visits and demonstrations.
- Preparing materials and equipment for demonstrations.
- Maintaining and organising our demonstration suite.
- Carrying out application trials and producing results that clearly demonstrate what the equipment can do.
- Keeping up to date with new products, tools, software and applications.
You will be part technician, part problem-solver and part presenter
Technical knowledge is important, but this role is about more than simply understanding machines.
You'll need to be comfortable getting in front of customers and explaining technology in a way that makes sense. You'll demonstrate equipment, answer questions, investigate problems and help customers understand the possibilities of the technology.
