As a Demi Chef de Partie at Zuma, we’re all about crafting extraordinary dining experiences, you’ll play an integral role in making that happen. Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection, inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. This role will be based in Zuma London, the original restaurant located in the heart of Knightsbridge.

Main Duties

  • Maintain mise en place levels to ensure seamless service, with a focus on food quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Actively develop your skills to become proficient in all kitchen sections, under the guidance of senior chefs.
  • Inspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper storage and minimizing waste.
  • Conduct daily checks of storage areas and maintain high hygiene standards to meet Zuma’s rigorous expectations.
  • Prepare food products in line with recipes, ensuring precision and high standards while overseeing the work of junior team members.
  • Keep workstations clean and organized, adhering to all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
