About Zuma

Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection inspired by the dynamic Izakaya dining style. The role will be based in Zuma London, the original restaurant located in the heart of Knightsbridge. Zuma London is proud to be part of the Azumi Collection and serves as the global heart of Zuma’s energy.

Main Duties

  • Ensure mise en place levels are maintained to guarantee smooth service, with a focus on quality, consistency, and impeccable presentation.
  • Embrace opportunities to learn and grow, gaining experience across various kitchen sections under the guidance of senior chefs.
  • Inspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper storage practices and minimizing waste.
  • Prepare food products according to recipes, ensuring precision, care, and adherence to the highest preparation standards.
  • Conduct daily hygiene checks in storage areas and maintain clean, organized workstations in line with Zuma’s high standards.
  • Follow Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment at all times.
