Chef de Partie – Zuma London
As a Chef de Partie at Zuma, every dish tells a story, and you’ll play a key role in crafting these unforgettable experiences. You’ll contribute to our reputation for excellence while guiding junior chefs to thrive in a dynamic kitchen. Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection inspired by the Izakaya dining style. This role is based at Zuma London, the original restaurant in Knightsbridge, part of the Azumi Collection.
Main Duties
- Maintain mise en place levels to ensure a seamless flow during service, with a focus on quality, consistency and presentation
- Continue honing your craft to master all sections of the kitchen, expanding your expertise under the guidance of senior chefs
- Check incoming goods for quality and accuracy, ensure proper storage and actively monitor to reduce waste
- Conduct daily hygiene checks and ensure all storage areas and workstations are impeccably clean and organized
- Prepare dishes according to recipes and oversee the work of junior team members to maintain Zuma’s exceptional standards
- Support and train commis and demi chefs, fostering their growth and creating a collaborative, high-performing team
