The role

How You’ll Make An Impact

• You engage with client stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable technical strategies.
• You lead the design and implementation of complex software architectures in banking projects, acting as a technical authority and hands‑on contributor.
• You collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and client teams to ensure alignment between business goals and technical execution.
• You drive architectural decisions, code quality, and engineering best practices across the full delivery lifecycle.
• You act as a mentor and coach to engineering teams, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• You contribute to Zühlke’s financial services capabilities by sharing insights, lessons learned, and technical innovations, and by supporting bid teams and sales initiatives through your expertise.

What’s Important To Us

• You hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field and have extensive experience as a software engineer and architect in enterprise banking environments.
• You have a proven track record of hands‑on technical leadership in complex software delivery projects.
• You understand banking systems, regulatory constraints, and integration patterns in depth.
• You are proficient in modern software engineering practices, cloud‑native architecture, and emerging technologies such as AI, Blockchain, and Cloud Computing, and can apply them effectively in corporate environments.
• You thrive in collaborative environments, work effectively in hybrid teams (on‑site and remote), and enjoy close interaction with clients and teammates.
• You communicate fluently in English; German language skills are a plus.
