We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for visual storytelling and be proficient in a variety of design tools and techniques. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including branding, web design, and multimedia content, contributing to the visual identity of our organisation. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering innovative designs that align with our marketing strategies and brand guidelines.
Duties
- Develop and execute compelling visual concepts for branding, marketing campaigns, websites, and social media platforms.
- Design engaging graphics using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant software such as Figma, Sketch, and CorelDRAW.
- Create wireframes and prototypes for web and UI design projects using tools like InVision and Adobe XD.
- Produce multimedia content including video editing with Adobe After Effects and other video editing software.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop presentation materials that effectively communicate key messages.
- Manage content within content management systems such as WordPress and optimise designs for digital platforms.
- Incorporate web development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to support web design projects where necessary.
- Capture high-quality photography to enhance visual storytelling efforts.
- Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines while maintaining originality and creativity.
- Stay updated with industry trends in digital design, UI/UX, and marketing strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing branding, web design, and multimedia projects.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, Sketch, CorelDRAW, and Adobe After Effects.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, Content Management Systems (CMS), and UI design principles.
- Experience with video editing software and digital content creation including photography skills.
- Strong understanding of branding principles and marketing strategies.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly to clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Organised with excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- A recognised qualification in Graphic Design or related field is preferred but not essential if accompanied by a robust portfolio.
