Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Sr Employee Relations Specialists to provide expert, hands‑on support for employee relations matters. This role is focused on the execution of core ER processes, primarily conducting investigations, managing cases, and providing expert counsel to managers and HR partners on established company policies and practices.
Scope Of Work & Key Responsibilities
- Provide advice, counsel, and resolution to employees and managers on complex and sensitive employee matters, including policy interpretation, conflict resolution, performance management, and discipline.
- Lead and conduct formal investigations regarding claims of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and other workplace concerns to reach a conclusion and present findings for proposed remediation.
- Maintain an organized case management system, run analytics, and produce metrics on case data.
- Act as an escalation point for highly complex matters, providing recommendations to mitigate risk.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders by providing subject matter expertise on ER matters.
- Deliver established training modules to managers and leaders to build capability in key areas of employee relations.
- Provide guidance to employees and leaders through the ADA Interactive process and partner with the benefits team on complex leave situations.
- Monitor and advise on performance management processes, from performance coaching to the development of performance improvement plans.
- Ensure that counsel and practices comply with relevant employment regulations.
Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Employee Relations, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of direct experience in Employee Relations is required.
- Strong with excel and data analytics; operational
- Solid working knowledge of the principles and practices of employee relations.
- In‑depth knowledge and application of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws.
- Proven experience working effectively in a contract or consulting capacity with the ability to manage a full caseload independently with minimal ramp‑up time.
- Must be able to work under pressure and deal with complex issues while maintaining composure.
- Experience supporting global teams is desired but not required

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full‑time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
Base Pay Range
$105,000 – $150,000 USD
