Interim Due Diligence Advisor – Private Equity (Capital Markets Infrastructure / Fintech)
We are working with a leading large-cap private equity house seeking a seasoned interim advisor to support with the due diligence of acquisition targets in capital markets, infrastructure fintech.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the investment team to conduct detailed due diligence on potential acquisition targets.
- Leverage deep sector knowledge across exchanges, trading platforms, clearing, settlement, custody, and fintech innovation to assess strategic and operational risks and opportunities.
- Provide independent senior-level insight, drawing on prior C-suite (CEO/CFO) and board-level (Chair/NED) experience.
- Post-acquisition, transition into a Non-Executive Director role on the portfolio company’s board, representing the private equity investor.
Qualifications
- Proven track record advising large-cap private equity firms on acquisitions and value creation.
- Former CEO, CFO, or COO (etc) of a capital markets infrastructure or fintech business, ideally with transaction and transformation experience.
- Experienced board member (Chair, NED, or Advisor) with a strategic perspective and ability to challenge constructively.
- Strong understanding of market structure, regulation, and technology shaping global capital markets infrastructure.
