A fantastic opportunity to join an industry leading software business. The business is seeing rapid global expansion reflected by 30% YoY growth. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the Head of Finance. This role would best suit someone ambitious and keen to grow and develop in a fast paced SME environment. The role is fully onsite with HQ in Central London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Year End Closing - manage the full year-end close process, including multi-entity and multi-currency Group consolidated accounts
- Statutory Accounts - prepare statutory year-end financial statements for all entities ensuring all deadlines are met
- Balance Sheet Integrity - prepare audit files including balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy
- Audit and Tax Compliance Management - act as the primary contact for external auditors and tax advisors, providing necessary documentation and information
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent
- Technical Accounting - strong knowledge of accounting standards
- Software Proficiency - advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting systems
- Attention to Detail - high level of numeracy and accuracy in financial reporting
Experience Level:
- Proven experience in a similar financial accounting role, particularly with ownership of year-end processes
- Previous involvement in managing external audit processes
