We are currently partnered with a highly acquisitive PE Backed multisite Buy & Build to recruit their Finance Manager. The business has revenues of circa £200m, with ambitious growth targets. This opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-growth, PE-backed setting.
The role is hybrid – 3 days per week in the office (Monday, Tuesday & Friday). The office is located in Buckinghamshire (easily accessible by train or car). The role reports to the Finance Director, with regular interaction with Group CFO and divisional finance teams.
Key requirements for Role:- Overseeing Europe entities accounting and month end
- Working with the audit team and tax advisors
- Supporting or deputising for Financial Controllers or Finance Director as required
- Develop and maintain a practical but robust process for monitoring balance sheet reconciliations
- Cash management and treasury relationship
- Supporting with Debt Covenant reporting
- Ownership of the Group balance sheet reconciliation tool and having oversight over teams completion
- Drafting Group Accounting Policies and Procedures
- IFRS 16 and lease accounting for the Group
- Supporting with the implementation of ERP Systems
- Accounting for hedging instruments
- Purchase price accounting
- Ad hoc project work across new acquisitions and group development
- ACA qualified with industry experience OR a first industry move straight from practice
- Experience with establishing controls and drafting accounting policies and procedures ideal
- Group consolidation, US GAAP and IFRS essential
- Previous experience with cash management and treasury essential
- Strong systems and excel skills
- NetSuite experience highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritise tasks effectively
- High attention to detail, analytical mind and a methodical approach to work
Salary: £60k - £75k depending on experience
